Here are the directions to our DZ. We invite and welcome you to the greenest, flattest, most wide open, obstacle free drop zone (DZ) in the entire Central Atlantic region. We're designed for safety. From Northern Virginia: Take the Washington Beltway (I-495) to MD Rte. 50 East. From the Washington Beltway (I-495): Go East of MD Rte. 50, past Annapolis, to the Bay Bridge. From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695): Take I-97 south to Annapolis, merge with Rte. 50 to the Bay Bridge. From Columbia: Take Rte. 32 to I-97, south to Annapolis to Rte. 50 to the Bay Bridge. Continue across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on 50 to Rte 404 East. Make a left onto 404, go 19 miles to Rte. 313 South (DO NOT turn on 313 Denton/Greensboro. Go 4 more miles to 313 south -- you'll see a sign to Federalsburg). Make a right turn and continue on 313 past Federalsburg and on to Sharptown (313 makes three turns, but is clearly marked. Just watch road signs). Across the Nanticoke River bridge at Sharptown, you'll encounter Rte. 348 east, about 1/2 mile past the bridge. Turn left (East) and go 7 miles to the airport. You can't miss it. Driving time is about 1 hour from the Bay Bridge to the drop zone. Enjoy the scenery provided by the Land of Pleasant Living. From the Wilmington area: Take I-95 to Rte. 13 south. Go to Laurel, DE. Make a right turn (West) on to Rte. 24. Go 2 miles to the airport. Driving time is approx. 1-1/2 hours. From Aberdeen, Newark area: Take I-95 to Rte. 896 South. Intersect with Rte. 13 South. Go to Laurel DE. Make a right turn (West) on to Rte. 24. Go 2 miles to the airport. Driving time is approx. 1-1/2 hours. Once at the Airport, go to the main building, identify yourself as a skydiving client and you will be promptly and happily attended. Thanks for your interest, and we hope to see you soon!. |
