Skydivers are everyday people, like you, who have, through curiosity become immersed in a tremendously exciting activity. They have formed a common bond with people throughout the world who, in all countries and languages have manages to communicate through similarity of spirit. On the drop zone, the atmosphere is light and gregarious, a close community participating in excitement and adventure. Excitement, apprehension, and adventure combine as the great equalizer, sweeping away class or other social distinctions. Skydivers are skydivers, and the differences between them are the diversity of their experiences in this great sport. Generally, parachutists are the most interesting of people, having broad activity backgrounds. A typical group contains professionals in all fields, as well as students, skilled and unskilled workers, athletes, homemakers, military personnel, and civil servants. Come and watch; see for yourself. We understand your reluctance; we were not always skydivers. |
